Welcome to Indigo Early Learning Centre

We are inspired to offer you and your child the best education and care with a strong focus on holistic education, play and sustainable practices. Your children will be encouraged to explore and develop curiosity and independence through creative play and meaningful hands-on learning opportunities. By providing plenty of outdoor all-weather outdoor play and by actively involving children in real life experiences including caring for animals, cooking and growing foods and other plants, we encourage children to make connections with their natural world.

A beautiful note from one of our Indigo Swim      families

Swimming lessons can be so hard to get to throughout the week with either having to sacrifice a Saturday morning or attemtping to do an evening class with tired kids. Indigo Swim program means we can tick the swimming lesson box without it eating into our valuable family time.

We have also found that our child has progressed quite quickly- we are assuming this is becuase they are more familiar with their swimming teacher (same teacher as their classroom teacher) and they are also familiar with the kids in their class. I also like that the swim classes are grouped with an awarenesss of kids friendships and group dynamics meaning less distraction and more time to concentrate on swimming- a win win.

Celebrating Success: Our Awards

“Children need to be given opportunity to be children. Children need to be given opportunity to play. Children need to be able to play for large blocks of uninterrupted time so they can meaningfully engage with the environment around them.” - Indigo Early Learning Centre

We are a Yoga and Mindfullness Accredited Service

At Indigo ELC, we are deeply committed to nurturing the whole selves of our educators, families, and children, fostering a culture of connection, balance, and well-being. Our approach is grounded in creating a harmonious space where every individual feels valued, supported, and inspired to grow. Through a thoughtful blend of practices and philosophies—including insights gained from our collaboration with Kathryn from A Mindful Start—we’ve cultivated an environment of freedom, happiness, and flexibility for our entire community.

This commitment is woven into every aspect of daily life at Indigo. We strive to create spaces where children feel safe and empowered to explore, discover, and connect with themselves, others, and the natural world. By embedding principles of mindfulness and presence into our routines, we help children develop the tools they need to navigate their emotions, build resilience, and cultivate a strong sense of self.

Harmonious living at Indigo extends beyond practices—it’s a philosophy that guides how we interact with one another and with our environment. We prioritize moments of calm, reflection, and gratitude, celebrating the joy found in everyday connections. Whether it’s through shared stories, quiet time in nature, or opportunities to collaborate and play, our approach fosters a sense of belonging and balance for everyone in our community.

By supporting the well-being of educators and families alongside children, we create a ripple effect of care and harmony that benefits the entire Indigo family. Together, we cultivate a space where relationships flourish, self-awareness deepens, and a connection to the natural world inspires lifelong learning and growth.
